Jimmy Lawlor will be performing on drums and singing with his long time musical family, The Midiri Brothers. The Midiri's are a long established area band that has been performing concerts all over the nation and Europe since the 1980's. Joe Midiri on Clarinet is considered the greatest exponent of jazz/swing clarinet today, per the L.A. Times. His equally accomplished brother, Paul Midiri is a virtuoso of the jazz vibraphone and is favorably compared to Lionel Hampton and Red Norvo. The guitarist, Pat Mercuri, is a multi-stringed instrumentalist who is also a prominent mandolinist heard with The New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra, as well as on Broadway. Bassist Jack Hegyi is a world class talent who has played with more stars that can be listed, and for years was the road bassist for the legendary duo Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé. This performance is free to the public.
